What to expect

A clear
setup.

We play traditional Cuban styles alongside the current popular music heard on Cuban radio, from hot dance tunes to soulful ballads. Training is available for strong players new to Cuban bass.

We play son, guaracha, bolero, songo, charanga, música campesina, and other Cuban pop. Our influences include Los Compadres, Los Van Van, Orquesta Original de Manzanillo, Septeto Santiaguero, Sierra Maestra, Arsenio Rodríguez, Tony Ávila, Chucho Valdés, Trío Matamoros, Horace Silver, Duke Ellington, Mongo Santamaría, and Changüí Guantánamo.
